Unfortunately 1 year after Endsars matter, police still never learn lesson. Dem still full Lagos street dey worry young boys and everybody wey dem fit oppress.
There is hope for our nation. The youth will sure raise and bring about a new Nigeria.
My Grandma dog na only room and kitchen I no see the dog 😁
About EndSARS, one thing everybody didn’t consider was the Yahoo epidemic that spiked the greed of SARS and their targeting any fashionable young person. Was it because Yahoo is a consequence of failed leadership? Cos to me the leadership comes from the people so both people and leadership are in error.
As Lauryn Hill talk am, “victimizer and victim are guilty, trusting this crooked system”…
To me, we can’t start at leadership level as in top down or bottom up to change. Maybe it’s from the middle or all levels have to be awake and hands on deck. As cliche as it sounds, it will take a miraculous awakening and I believe it’s possible.
Endsars protest in itself was close to that miracle. The foundations were faulty from taking shots at the old generation, to running the advice to pray (“we don too pray. Na time for action”) to tortori-ing the government with crypto financed chop chop (baking cake, sharing jollof with fat fat turkey and broadcasting on social media), to spending valuable time doing concerts instead of fronting that 5-point agenda, to the Lagos “spear head” not carrying the streets along or maintaining a cohesive movement in the states that caught the wave.
The small small intimidation of police during the one year anniversary show say na very small omomo step we take. There’s hope. We fit move from omomo step, enter politics and do all that good stuff.
Bingo dey my parlor all my life for 9ja but we also had cages in the backyard for them too. After puppy stage they slept in their cages but played inside the house and backyard area. I believe I was the only person in Benin who ever walked their dogs and still waiting to hear otherwise lol im talking 1988 thru the 90’s
As an adult I’ve never owned a dog…..go figure 🤣🤣🤣🤣
